JG53 is an online flying group utilizing the flight simulation provided by IL2: Cliffs of Dover by 1c and Maddox Games. This group of 'virtual' pilots belong to a Geschwader based loosely on Jagdgeschwader 53 which flew for the Luftwaffe during the Second World War. 

While the group aims to be historically accurate where possible with regard to markings/paintschemes etc no member of this group condones in any way the Nazi regime or ideology. Any member violating this policy or expressing views to the contrary while representing this group will be immediately removed from this organization and banned from further participation.

 
Whilst this virtual squadron uses images of historical ranks, awards, aircraft markings and insignia that may contain the Swastika this is for historical accuracy and representation ONLY. This in no way condones  the regime or ideology of the Nazi party.
